Bonaventuracollege – SCOL
About our school
The Bonaventuracollege Burggravenlaan is located in the city centre of Leiden and is one out of the three locations of Bonaventura in Leiden. The name of our school originates from Giovanni di Fidanza (better known as Bonaventura) an Italian Franciscan, theologian, philosopher and teacher. Our school is inspired by Bonaventura’s teaching methods and leading qualities.
Bonaventuracollege was founded in 1928 as its predecessor, Sint Willibrord the only catholic secondary school in Leiden, was relocated to The Hague. Nowadays the Bonaventura has expanded and covers three locations in Leiden and another one in Roelofarendsveen.
