Bonaventura college visits La Anunciata Ikastetxea
The second mobility inside the Erasmus+ project took place from the 21st to the 18th April 2016. 24 students from Bonaventura College (Leiden) travelled to San Sebastian for an intense week of project work and leisure.
On the project work side, they developed the project “From 21st Century Skills to 21st Century schools”. They made individual reflections on the topic, and then worked in pairs, groups of four and even in groups of twelve, with the aim of designing an ideal school. All the project was done following the methodology of cooperative work, basically using two techniques: Think, Pair, Share and an inverse Jigsaw.
The output of the project was a presentation in which the students proposed their ideas for the perfect school. The group which was elected as the best presentation gave their speech in front of all the students (see video), and their output will be handed in to the directions of both La Anunciata Ikastetxea and and Bonaventura College.
But not everything on this visit was work. All the students and their teachers had a reception at the San Sebastian Town Hall, where Ms. Mª Luisa García Gurrutxaga, responsible for education at the Town Hall, thanked the schools and their students for their work inside the Erasmus+ European framework.
On other hand, the Basque students showed their Dutch friends around San Sebastian, Bilbao and Vitoria-Gasteiz, and the week finished with a big dinner party at La Anunciata Ikastetxea.
